Participating in the "Our Beloved Summer" project was an incredibly rewarding experience that allowed me to contribute to the community while enhancing my teaching and organizational skills. I prepared a detailed syllabus and created course materials to teach English to 30 Khmer students at C An Hao Primary School in An Giang Province. This experience not only improved my ability to design educational content but also deepened my understanding of how to engage young learners effectively.
-
In addition to teaching, I helped coordinate donations, which included five desktop computers, 100 gifts for the students, and 20 gifts for local families in need. We also took on hands-on tasks like painting and repairing the children’s playground, which brought the community together and made a lasting impact. Setting up food kiosks, organizing children's folk games, and hosting STEM classes and sporting events were other memorable aspects of the project. These activities allowed us to foster a fun and educational environment, while also promoting teamwork and community spirit.

Participating in the MAI volunteer program was a deeply enriching experience, where I developed valuable skills in project planning and community support. One of my primary responsibilities was creating a detailed timeline for the main day of the trip, ensuring that all activities were well-organized and ran smoothly. In addition, I contributed to the development of a risk management plan, anticipating potential challenges and preparing strategies to address them. This planning process heightened my ability to think critically and manage logistics effectively.

A key aspect of the program was our visit to Thien Duyen Orphanage and Phuoc Dien Rest Home, where we donated clothes and essential supplies to those in need.
